Charter Steel is headquartered in Saukville, Wisconsin, a community located near the western shores of Lake Michigan, approximately twenty miles north of Milwaukee and a ninety-minute drive from Chicago. Charter Steel also operates facilities in Ohio.

Saukville, Wisconsin

Built in 1978 and expanded several times since then, Charter Steel's Saukville campus blends in with the natural beauty of eastern Wisconsin. It is home to Charter Steel's corporate offices as well as a fully integrated mini mill that includes a melt shop, state-of-the-art rolling mill and a processing facility. Saukville is located 20 miles north of Milwaukee on I-43.

Cleveland, Ohio

Charter Steel also operates a fully integrated mini mill in Cleveland, Ohio that includes a state of the art melt shop built in 2006 and a rolling mill built in 1996 and acquired by Charter Steel in 2002. Charter Steel's Cleveland facility is located in Cuyahoga Heights, approximately 10 minutes from downtown Cleveland.

Fostoria, Ohio

Built in 2000, Charter Steel opened a processing and distribution facility in Fostoria, Ohio to better serve our customers in the Midwest with just-in-time deliveries. This facility is located approximately thirty miles south of Toledo. The full-service facility is equipped with a chemical cleaning line, mechanical descaling, annealing furnaces and wire-drawing equipment to clean, anneal, draw, coat and distribute hot-rolled coils from Charter Steel's rolling mills. Charter Steel's Fostoria facility is located approximately 40 miles from Toledo off Highway US 23.
